Davis (RAD) Memorial Scholarship Fund is named in honor of Sp4 PFC Robert A. Davis “Bobby”, the first from Chester County, Pennsylvania to be fatally wounded in combat during the Vietnam War, November 15, 1965. At 25 years of age, Bobby fell in the Ia Drang Valley, a battle that captured national attention and changed the war in Vietnam.
